How Does It Work?

The Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) works by passing a low-intensity electrical current through the body through the hands and feet. This creates a full body scan as alternating electrical current causes responses through the body know as bioelectrical impedance. By measuring the impedance, body composition and fitness data are collected.

How Long Does a Body Composition Scan Take?

Because you must enter various data, your initial full body scan may take up to five minutes. Subsequent full body scans will take between 45-60 seconds.

Who Shouldn't Get an Evolt 360 Body Fat Scan?

Whilst it’s great to understand your progress, getting a body fat scan, those who have peacemakers or other implants are in a category that should not get a body composition scan. Also, if you are pregnant, take medications that affect water retention or have significant amounts of metal in their body (such as from a hip replacement) should not have an Evolt 360 body fat scan.
